A Naming ceremony is a beautiful celebration that welcomes a new baby or child to their family and wider community.
Naming ceremonies are popular for newborns and toddlers alike, but they can be designed for children of all ages and to welcome a child through adoption.
A naming ceremony can be held at a venue of your choice at any time of the day.
Some families choose a function room in their favorite hotel or restaurant whilst others prefer an outdoors ceremony in their garden or a nature reserve.
Each ceremony is unique to the individual family and you are able to choose what poems, readings and/or music are included.
You can nominate friends and family to act as the child's 'Guideparents,' or whichever name you're comfortable with.
The parents and guideparents are invited to make promises or vows to the child during the ceremony.

By choosing a Humanist wedding ceremony, you're not only going to have the most magical and personal wedding ceremony ever, but you will also be supporting the Humanists UK charity to fund education programmes to make our society a more inclusive place!
Now, isn't that a nice feeling! :)
